Key Distinguishing Feature

The adult beetle brown in colour has a distinct bill or snout which can be approximately 10mm long.

The billbug are soil dwelling insects that can cause severe damage to the turfgrass. The adult beetle has a distinct bill or snout which can be approximately 10 mm long. The larva or grub which causes the most damage, is legless and grows to about 10 mm in length, is white with a yellowish brown head. The larva or grub feed on the grass roots.

  • For active infestations, after application, wait 24 hours before irrigating thoroughly into soil profile. For all other applications, irrigate within an hour of applying.
