Up to 6-month weed germination protection. Spartan Herbicide is a pre-emergent herbicide that can be used as an effective tool to help control annual weeds (Summer & Winter). 250mL of Spartan can treat up to 625sqm.

A pre-emergent herbicide used to prevent the occurrence of weeds such as Crowsfoot Grass, Summer Grass, Winter Grass, Paspalum, and other grassy weeds.

Spartan Herbicide selectivity is primarily through soil profile placement. Small-seeded plants take up greater amounts of the herbicide as they germinate in the soil profile zone of herbicide placement.

  • Application

    Application Rate: 10-40mL/100sqm

    Water in thoroughly after application.

    Application should be prior to germination of the weeds.

    250mL Spartan can cover 625-2500sqm depending on application rate.

    Spartan is best applied with a backpack or handheld sprayer to ensure even application. Sprayer calibration is recommended.


    Application: Garden Beds and Potted Plants

    DO NOT apply over the top of existing mulch.

    When used on garden beds or potted plants wash in immediately with minimum 3 mm rain or irrigation.
